Clarification from the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council

The Presidency of the Kurdish National Council received an official invitation from the transitional administration in Damascus to attend the opening of the Damascus International Fair in August 27th.

Ms. Fasla Yusuf, a member of the Presidency, was assigned to represent the Council at this event and participate in the opening ceremony.

The Presidency of the Kurdish National Council is positive about every step that will pave the way for serious negotiations between the joint Kurdish delegation and the transitional administration in Damascus, with the aim of finding a just solution to the Kurdish issue in Syria, With the aim of finding a just solution to the Kurdish issue in the country and forging a genuine partnership at all levels, the Council’s Presidency is working to build a decentralized Syria whose constitution recognizes the rights of the Kurdish people, along with the rights of other Syrian components.
