Kurdish politician Hoshyar Zebari said that the beginning of 2026 will be difficult, and the future will be even more challenging in the Middle East.
Zebari, who is a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, pointed out in a post on the X platform that the beginning of 2026 will be difficult for the new world.
He added: From the war in southern Yemen over influence, to the protests in Iran, to the US confrontation in Venezuela and the arrest of its president in a swift US military operation, to the tensions of regional escalation in the Middle East, all portend that the future will be even more challenging.
It is worth noting that Zebari previously served as foreign minister of the Federal Republic of Iraq from 2004 to 2014.)
