In June 22, 2025, a delegation from the Legal Office of the Kurdish National Council traveled to the capital Damascus, where held meetings with a number of competent legal institutions and bodies, including: The Bar Association, the Ministry of Justice, the National Commission for Transitional Justice, and the National Commission for Missing Persons.

This visit comes as a continuation of previous visits, and within the framework of the tasks assigned to the Legal Office, with the aim of working to remove the grievances resulting from the exceptional decisions, laws and decrees that targeted the Kurdish people in particular, in addition to following up the file of the missing persons, mechanisms to implement transitional justice, and following up the affairs of lawyers in Hasakah province, and these messages were successfully delivered to their competent authorities.

Attempts to abuse and distort will not deter us from continuing our struggle and work for our just cause, and we will continue our performance in the legal office to serve the legitimate aspirations and rights of the Kurdish people.
