Vandalism and Removal of Kurdish Symbols in Kurdish Towns and Villages

Over the past two days, unidentified individuals have vandalized Kurdish symbols painted on rocks and walls in the villages of Alian, north of the town of Jal Agha.

They also removed Kurdish flags raised in the town of Gerke Lage.

These acts of vandalism are attributed to the Revolutionary Youth Organization affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The relevant authorities have not issued any statement regarding these acts of vandalism.

These acts have sparked public outrage and official political condemnation.
