Clarification from the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council

Some social media sites have circulated news claiming that the Presidency of the Kurdish National Council received a US envoy on 3rd in March  and discussed with him issues related to the future of northeastern Syria.

We emphasize that the points contained in this news are inaccurate and come in the context of attempts to confuse the efforts to unify the Kurdish position and form a joint delegation for dialogue with the new administration in the country and the various Syrian components, with the aim of reaching a political transition that leads to building a democratic and pluralistic state that guarantees the rights of all its components.
