The Revolutionary Youth kidnaps the minor, Maryam Ebo

In 2/8/ 2024 the PKK-affiliated Ciwanên Şoreşger organization/ Revolutionary Youth kidnapped a girl child from Afrin city .

According to the Human Rights Organization in Afrin : “The Ciwanên Şoreşger organization of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party has kidnapped the minor girl Maryam Ebo  17 years old, she kidnapped from From the Al-Shahba area in the countryside of Aleppo city, northern Syria. She is displaced from the villages of the Afrin region.

The minor, Maryam Ibo, comes from the village of Za’ara in the town of Bulbala in the countryside of the city of Afrin. Her mother is Berivan Aliko.

The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, had signed, in 2019, with the United Nations representative for children and armed conflict, Virginia Gamba, a plan of commitment to end and prevent the recruitment of children under the age of 18 and their non-use in military actions.
