Tuesday, March 24, 2020, marked the third anniversary of the representative of the youth movement in the locality of the Kurdish National Council in the city of Dirk Fouad Ibrahim kidnapping by the Asayish (Police) of the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
Despite the passage of three years since the arrest of the activist Fouad Ibrahim, ambiguity continues to surround his place of detention and no party has claimed responsibility for this.
Fouad Ibrahim was arrested on Friday afternoon, 24.3.2017, between Mamshour and Shakr Khaji villages in the Dirk countryside.
The General Secretariat of the Kurdish National Council issued a statement condemning the arrest of a member of the local council in Dirk, bearing the Asayish of Democratic Union Party responsible for its security and safety.
It is worth noting that Fouad Ibrahim was arrested on 02.10.2016 with a member of the local council, Walid Farman, while they were distributing invitations to activities in the local council.
