Kidnapping of a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Derik

On Tuesday, July 13, 2021, gunmen from the Democratic Union Party kidnapped a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, Frmz Abdul Karim Sofi, and his fate is still unknown until this news was prepared.

Sofi is a member of the subcommittee of his party organization in Derik, and he is a resident of the village of Mrza Bani.

On May 21, gunmen from the Democratic Union kidnapped a member of the martyr Nasreddin Berhak locality in Jal Agha and Alyan, and he is still in forced detention.

It should be noted that the violations by the PYD gunmen against the members of the Council and its parties continue despite the pledge of the Syrian Democratic Forces to end the series of violations.
