Water cut off from Al-Hasakah due to the Turkish bombing

The flow of water from the Alok station to the city of Al-Hasakah and the town of Tl Tamr was interrupted, today, Thursday, due to the Turkish shelling on the countryside of Tl Tamr.

The Yekiti Media reporter confirmed that the drinking water from the city of Al-Hasakah had been interrupted due to the damage to the main traction line from the Alok station, as a result of artillery shelling by the Turkish army on the village of Umm Al-Keif in the countryside of Tl Tamr.

Our correspondent said that a workshop from the Water Establishment in Al-Hasakah is currently examining the damage.

It should be noted that the Turkish authorities cut pumping water from the Alok station to the Al-Hasakah region several times during the past month.
