President Masoud Barzani receives the leadership of the Kurdish National Council

The Kurdish leader, Masoud Barzani, received today, Tuesday, May 7, 2023, in Salah al-Din, a delegation from the leadership of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.

The delegation of the Kurdish National Council included members of the Presidency, members of the Foreign Relations Committee, and representatives of the Council in the Syrian opposition coalition.

During the meeting, the political situation and developments in Syria and the region were discussed, and the situation and circumstances of Kurdish citizens, and the obstacles and challenges facing political parties and Kurdish citizens in Syria, were highlighted.

The future of the Kurds in Syria and the political and international equations affecting the Syrian situation were other topics of the meeting.
