On March 1, 2024, during the memorial celebration for the death of the immortal Mulla Mustafa Barzani in the city of Kobanê, at the invitation of the Kurdish National Council, members of the Revolutionary Youth attacked the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Syria, destroying its contents, burning the furniture, assaulting those present, and seriously injuring a member of the Political Committee of the Yekiti Party, Kurdistan Region – Syria, Wais Sheikhi, and Adnan Bozan, a member of the Central Committee of the same party.
