Demonstration in the city of Amuda against political arrests

May On 5, 2024, the Kurdistan Yekiti Party held a demonstration in the city of Amuda, demanding the release of Nasser Jaro.

The Member of the Political Committee of the Yekiti Party, Zakia Rasoul, called on the Democratic Union Party to release Nasser Jaro, close the political Arrests file, and release all political Arrests.

Democratic Union Party militants arrested Nasser Jarro in the city of Amuda on April 21, 2024, and his fate remains unknown.

In a statement, the Kurdish National Council denounced the arrest of Nasser Jaro, and called on the international coalition forces to put pressure on ending the political detention file.
