Mazloum Kobani sets the date for the end of operations

Sunday, Mazloum Kobani, The head of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said that operations to determine areas of foreign presence and the political and military stance would be completed within two weeks.

Kobani said that during the next two weeks, the process of determining the presence of foreign forces and the political and military stance will be completely over, reiterating his call for unity in dealings abroad, whatever the internal differences are.

He added that the US forces will remain in the areas of Maliki (Derek) and Qamishlo and Deir el-Zur and Hasakah, pointing out that the forces are in the stage of political negotiations with the regime, which wants to return things to the way they were before May 2011.

He stressed that diplomatic movements from Washington and Europe to represent the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Geneva negotiations formally.
