During May the PKK-affiliated Ciwanên Şoreşger organization/ Revolutionary Youth kidnapped 6 kids from areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

A local source told Yekiti Media, “The Ciwanên Şoreşger organization of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party has kidnapped the minor boy Khalel Ebrahim Alhasan 11 years old from Alraqqa in 1 May 2023

And the Ciwanên Şoreşger organization has kidnapped the boy Mohammad Jamal Othman 17 years old from Alraqqa in 6 May 2023, and he is the only child in his family, and he is an emigrant from Tl Abyad.

And in Kobane city the Ciwanên Şoreşger organization has kidnapped the boy Mhyar Ate, 14 years old, in 28 May 2023.

And also the Ciwanên Şoreşger organization has kidnapped the boy Mohammad Nor Alramdan,  16 years old, from Alrqqa city. And he kidnapped in 15 May 2023.

and in 12 May the Ciwanên Şoreşger organization has kidnapped the boy Mohammad Husaen, 15 years 15 old, from Altabqa city.

and in Qamshlo city the Ciwanên Şoreşger organization has kidnapped the Bayal Aqeel, 13 years 15 old, while she was coming back to her home in 24 May 2023.

The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi (at that time), signed with the United Nations representative for children and armed conflict, Virginia Gamba, in 2019 a commitment plan to end and prevent the recruitment of children under the age of 18 and not to use them in military action.

Many families are afraid of announcing the abduction of the Revolutionary Youth (Ciwanên Şoreşger) for their children, for fear of retaliation by the PYD and PKK militants, and many of them resort to working to return their children through mediation and paying sums of money in this regard.

It should be noted that the kidnapping of the PKK-affiliated (Ciwanên Şoreşger) organization aims, according to observers, to brainwash them and instruct them on the ideas of the PKK, recruit them and transfer them to the party’s camps in Şengal and Qandil.
