A kurdish refugee from Boukan got rejected by the office for migration and refugees in Switzerland and committed suicide after receiving the deportation order by the swiss police.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Monday, August 24, 2020, a Kurdish refugee named “Masoud Ghaderi” from Boukan, Kurdistan-Iran, threw himself in front of the train in the canton of Glarus in Switzerland and was killed immediately.
An informed source told Hengaw that Masoud Ghaderi went to Switzerland two years ago as a refugee. His application for asylum got rejected by the office for migration and refugees. In the past few days the swiss police told the Kurdish refugee that he would soon be deported back to Iran. He committed suicide for this reason.
