Joint communique of the Kurdistan PUK and KDP parties

The meeting of the political officesof the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party ended on Tuesday 11/12/2018 in the city of Erbil, in which a number of important and sensitive issues were discussed and the following joint communiqué was issued.

First: the organization of the best bilateral relations between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to be at the level of the political and economic and diplomatic relations, in a way that strongly supports the Kurdistan Regional Government.

Second: Joint action to solve the problems between the regional government and the federal government at all levels and break the deadlock towards progress in solving the problem of Kirkuk and the disputed areas and all issues that have differences, with the Kurds in Baghdad ready and effective and strong.

Third: The establishment of a committee to prepare for the draft relations regulation in general to maintain a common position on the mechanism of dealing with Iraq and within the Kurdistan Region and its surroundings taking into account events and developments.

Fourth: To support the special committee for the formation of the new cab in order to ensure stability and governance on the basis of the law and participation of the gathering of those parties that will participate in the next government.
