Panorama of the attacks against the of the Kurdish National Council offices and its political parties
During the past few days, the Kurdish National Council offices have been subjected to armed attacks by gunmen from the Democratic Union Party (PYD).
1- Taking down the Kurdish flag from the office of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party – Syria in the city of Amuda on 10.12.2020
2- An attack with automatic weapons on the local council office in the city of Darbasiyah on 13.12. 2020
3- Molotov cocktails attack of the Kurdistan Democratic Party office in Qamishlo on 13.12.2020
4- Burning of the local council office in the city of Amuda on 14.12.2020
5- The office of the Kurdistan Unity Party was burned in the city of Hasaka on 14.12.2020
6- An attack with Molotov cocktails on the office of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party – Syria in the city of Kobani on 15.12.2020
7- The office of the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Qamishlo was torched on 15.12.2020
The Kurdish National Council issued statements condemning these attacks, stressing that they target and intimidate the Kurdish street, and the negotiations between the Council and the Kurdish national unity parties.
The Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria condemned the attacks on the offices of the Kurdish National Council and its parties, saying that they only serve the enemies of the Kurds.
