The offices of the Kurdish National Council in Syria and its affiliated parties in several cities were burned by the Democratic Union Party (PYD) armed, in the areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces.
According to Yekiti Media correspondents, eight headquarters were burned:

In a statement dated on 20 April 2022, the Kurdish National Council condemned these attacks, and stated in its statement: “The Kurdish National Council in Syria condemns and denounces in the strongest terms these terrorist acts, and charge the de-facto authorities (PYD) and its military wing, the Syrian Democratic Forces, fully responsible for the region’s consequences and Dangerous situation ahead
In its statement, the Kurdish National Council called on the American side to exert sufficient pressure on the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces, to stop these violations and to close the file of burning the offices completely.
The US Embassy in Syria said in a statement on its Facebook page: The United States is deeply concerned by the recent attacks on several KNC offices in northeast Syria. Intimidation and violence have no place in political discourse, and we urge all parties to engage peacefully in pursuit of resolutions that benefit all concerned.
Hours after the American statement, gunmen from the Democratic Union Party threw a bomb at the house of a member of the Kurdistan Yekiti Party, Nizamuddin Aliko, in Al-Darbasiyah city which caused significant material damage.
